516 ARTS plays a key role in New Mexico by bringing together diverse organizations and artists around our common concerns. With a grassroots approach, 516 ARTS has organized many expansive collaborations that have involved the local community and drawn audiences and media coverage from around the country and the world. Since it was founded in 2006, 516 ARTS has quickly grown to play a leading role for arts and culture in Albuquerque and the Southwest.

Most of our programs and publications are free to the public. 516 ARTS is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit, charitable organization supported primarily by grants, sponsorships and contributions, as well as generous members like you!

Members of 516 ARTS are part of a circle of friends and supporters who pay membership fees annually. When you join 516 ARTS or renew your membership you are helping to make 516 ARTS possible. Every contribution makes a difference!  Membership fees can be paid by check, over the phone by credit card, or via Paypal from the "Donate" options above or at 516arts.org/donate. Benefits

All membership levels include invitations to 516 ARTS public events and selected private receptions and gallery talks, discounts to ticketed events and workshops, programs and event mailings, and a 10% discount in the 516 ARTS Store. Membership levels of $1000 and above offer the following additional recognition:

Please note that contributions are separate from annual membership and can be made multiple times during the year. If you are already a member, we still welcome any additional contribution in response to our special appeals. Letters will go out when it's time to renew your membership.

Contributions can also be made through United Way (505-247-3671). 

516 ARTS is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, charitable organization and contributions are tax-deductible as allowed by law (less the value of any goods or services received from 516 ARTS).
